Hemi Walker grew up on the terraces at Sky Stadium in Wellington, where a love of rugby and a knack for reading a form guide slowly turned into a career. After a decade covering Super Rugby, the NRL and thoroughbred racing as a sports journalist, he moved into odds analysis — modelling betting markets and hunting for the value the local monopoly leaves on the table.
